Concerns that PBR brought up:
We do not vacuum bag as this would add 20% to the cost of molding and we feel our construction techniques have proven themselves to be more than tough enough.
We are going to be phasing in molded stringers, even though the encapsulated marine grade plywood stringers have also proven themselves tough enough even for Albin customer's high standards.
The boat had not yet been commissioned at the time of test. The fit of the hatch had not been adjusted.
We use the foam for the tanks to stop chaffing. Our tanks are already coated.
There is easy day access to the engine. Only for a big job does one need to lift the center console. This can be done by two people in the odd chance that the winch does not work. If we used actuator type lifts, these too have a small chance to fail and have no manual crank.
